“The summer of 2013 I went on a journey on this 50 foot Dutch style riverboat, from Moorehaven, Florida up to Tennessee. This trip took me down the Caloosahatchee River, up the Gulf Coast to Mobile Alabama, and from there up the Tom Bigbee waterway to Tennesee. I set up my easel in the wheelhouse, and created 4 paintings including this one on the way. What a unique experience that was, with few distractions, besides the handsome captain. (smile)”
