Contact Martha To Schedule A Commissioned Painting
The process:
- Contact Martha directly to share your ideas about your painting.
- Things to think about:
- Size of painting,
- Location of where you plan on hanging your painting.
- Do you plan on framing your painting, or would you prefer a gallery wrap?
- Martha will require a 50% deposit upfront before proceeding.
- If possible, Martha will arrange for a sitting in order to establish colors and skin tones. This affords her the opportunity to become acquainted with her subject. The person who is commissioning the painting will also have an opportunity to give some input. She will take reference photos.
- A detailed pencil sketch will be created for approval. Once approved, Martha will begin the task of creating your unique and personal painting.
- Once the painting has reached a stage where Martha is ready to share the result, which could be in mid process if she wants some feedback, she will send you a digital image for approval.
- The balance is due upon completion of the painting.
