“Flamingo Flame” was painted during the summer of 2021, during thCovid -19 epidemic. Martha, and her husband Marc, traveled by car all the way from Florida to Helena, Montana. There, they stayed in a rented home while Martha completed this and other paintings. Martha attempted to create feathers that you could almost touch. The opportunity to paint in reds and oranges was wonderful change of pace for Martha. The original painting is 20 x 20 inches, it is even more striking in larger reproductions. (Original has been sold).
