painting entitled queen bee of a womans face with a crown of flowers and honeycombs. there are bees flying around her crown. by martha dodd“Queen Bee”  is an original oil on canvas painted during the summer of 2020, during the Covid 19 epidemic. Martha, and her husband Marc, traveled by car from Florida to Helena, Montana, where she created this painting.

Martha has previously painted another in this series, entitled Queen Conch. She plans on another in the future, The Butterfly Queen.
