Just A Quick Note…

I hope you are all doing well, and sorry about being absent for so long! I meant to make my next post about my summer, and my new art, but Hurricane Ian got in the way. I plan on giving a detailed update later, but I wanted to give you the heads up about an outdoor art show that I am participating in this coming weekend.

My shiny clean booth! Any suggestions on improving the presentation?

My decision to do this art show came from the fact that my galleries are temporarily closed. My tent came out of retirement, and because of flooding from Hurricane Ian, was covered in sticky mud! Marc and I spread all the parts out, pressure washed and bleached everything, and it is sparkling clean!

We set it up in the driveway, hung my art, and took booth display photos. These are required to be accepted into the juried shows I plan to attend.

What is a juried show? A panel of 3 or more judges who review some samples of the applicants work, as well as the presentation of their booth, and accept or deny those applicants.

I applied and got accepted to the Naples Fine Art Show being held this coming weekend.
